This product is Sulfate-free! Sulfates are chemicals used as cleansing agents. They can be found in household cleaners, detergents, shampoo and beauty products. Two most common sulfates are Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLEs) and are used to create the lathering effect. These chemicals are often derived from petroleum and can be damaging to certain types of hair, can cause skin irritation, allergies, lead to hair loss and according to some studies can have some carcinogenic ingredients. This product does not contain these harmful chemicals.

This product is Paraben-free! Parabens are chemical preservatives that are commonly used in beauty products to increase shelf life. Through daily use of beauty products, they can accumulate in your body causing hormone imbalance, influence reproductive activity and in some cases can even cause the growth of breast cancer cells. If you are not sure if a product has parabens, methylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben are three of the most common paraben ingredients.

Is there any BPA in the Plaine body wash?

No, the pumps are BPA-free and the cosmetic grade liners inside the bottles are BPA and PVC free.
Is Plaine body wash palm oil-free?

All Plaine Products are palm oil-free! Their vegetable glycerin is derived from coconut oil and glyceryl mono stearate in the body lotion is palm oil-free.
How long will Plaine body wash last?

Since Plaine Products are aloe-based, instead of water-based, you don’t need much. The average seems to be 3-4 months, but some people say they are lasting 6 months or more. All Plaine products have a shelf life of two years.
Is it the same price each time I order a refill?

It’s the same price each time you order whether it’s the first time or a refill, although we do offer a discount if you decide to sign up for a subscription.
How should I prep my empty Plaine bottle to be returned?

Often there is still some product left in an “empty” bottle. When the pump stick can no longer reach the shampoo in the bottom of the bottle, add a little water and shake it up to create diluted body wash.
