Cora Ball is the first-ever microfiber catching laundry ball.

It is designed to prevent microfibers from breaking off our clothes and collects them into fuzz we can see, so we can dispose of them in the right way.

By using Cora Ball, you are reducing microfiber release from clothing, protecting your clothing and our ocean.

The Cora laundry ball is effective at reducing 31% of the microfibers that would otherwise flow out of the washing machine from an entire load of wash.

Cora Ball is made with 100% recycled plastic.

Instructions:

Simply put your Cora Ball in your laundry and let it catch microfibers in the washing machine.
The Cora Ball works best with your everyday clothes. Please separate out your delicates, knits, fine fabrics and anything with tassels, fraying threads or spaghetti straps.
There is a chance that these clothes, fabrics, threads or straps work their way into the stalks and wrap, pull or worse. If something like a thin strap does wrap in your stalks, carefully unwrap it. Unless it's made of lace or extremely delicate fabric or had fraying threads, it will be fine.

Care Instructions:

Cleaning your Cora Ball is easy and similar to cleaning a hairbrush. When you see fuzz or lint balls that are big enough to grab, simply pull them out and throw them in the trash bin (Cora Ball is still working to find a way to upcycle or recycle them. Until then, just do the same thing with this lint that you do with your dryer lint)
Don't worry about cleaning your Cora Ball completely. Little tangles of hair and fiber will attract more hair and fiber and grow big enough for you to grab easily.

Can I wash all of my clothes with Cora Ball, even delicates?

It is not recommended that you wash anything with lace, tassels, chunky or wide-knit, crocheted sections, or fraying threads with Cora Ball. The stalks on the Cora Ball might catch these delicate items and potentially cause damage.

The good news is that these items are not contributing much microfiber according to current scientific understanding, so leaving the Cora Ball out of the wash for your delicates is OK. Sometimes a bra or bikini strap will wrap around the Cora Ball; don’t worry, it is easy to unwind and unless the straps are made of lace, they will be fine.
What is Cora Ball made of?

The Cora Ball is made of 100% recycled and 100% recyclable soft and stretchy plastic that will maintain its physical and chemical properties in the temperature extremes of both residential and commercial washers and dryers.
How many Cora Balls should I use?

For most homes, one Cora Ball will do the job. For families with especially large washing machines, we recommend up to 3.
How does Cora Ball catch tiny fibers?

The fibers tend to tangle together into fuzz balls that you can see and pick out of the Cora Ball. When we look at a microscope image from a pinch of what a Cora Ball collected from a 3-load test, we can see different colors and sizes all bunched together.
How do I clean the Cora Ball?

When you have tangles big enough to grab, you just move the stalks to the side and pinch the tangles to pull them out and that’s it.
Do I have to clean it after every wash?

Nope! We actually recommend cleaning when it’s easy to clean - you’ll see big tangles of hair and fiber, then you can go for it.
How long will Cora Ball last?

Cora Ball is designed as a long lasting product and should last you for years.
