This product is Sulfate-free! Sulfates are chemicals used as cleansing agents. They can be found in household cleaners, detergents, shampoo and beauty products. Two most common sulfates are Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLEs) and are used to create the lathering effect. These chemicals are often derived from petroleum and can be damaging to certain types of hair, can cause skin irritation, allergies, lead to hair loss and according to some studies can have some carcinogenic ingredients. This product does not contain these harmful chemicals.

This product is Paraben-free! Parabens are chemical preservatives that are commonly used in beauty products to increase shelf life. Through daily use of beauty products, they can accumulate in your body causing hormone imbalance, influence reproductive activity and in some cases can even cause the growth of breast cancer cells.
