SAVE WHAT MATTERS!
Because we only have one planet. We can do anything when we all do something.
STASHER STORY
For some people discovery is a process, for others it’s that one moment of clarity when something just clicks. It was just another day for Kat Nouri, getting her kids ready for school, packing their lunch. While doing that, she realized how much plastic waste her family was actually producing on a daily basis. She needed to do something so she decided to look for alternatives.
Having a background in designing and developing silicone textiles, Kat thought she could put that knowledge to good use. Her desire and her experience led Kat to create something extraordinary - the world’s first patented, self-sealing platinum silicone storage bag. That is how Stasher was born!
Kat knew that her “new baby” was unique and very special but never in her dreams would she hope that a bag would become a movement! That’s exactly what Stasher is today - a global mission that’s preventing over a billion single-use plastic bags from entering our oceans and landfills.
HOW DO THEY MAKE AN IMPACT?
When you prevent over 1 billion single-use plastic bags from entering our oceans and landfills, you are one hell of a green company!
Stasher Bags are made with pure platinum silicone and are endlessly reusable, each one replacing thousands of single-use plastic bags. Platinum silicone is the highest standard for silicone which doesn’t degrade over time. It is food safe and completely free of BPA, BPS, lead, latex, and phthalates.
Stasher has passed all U.S. and Canadian food safety standards in addition to the most strict guidelines of all, the European Union food safety standard.
Stasher Bags are recyclable at selected recycling facilities. In addition to that Stasher has a repurposing program through which you can send them your used up bags and they will repurpose them for soft, safe playground pebbles.
They have partnered with 1% for the Planet to donate 1% of their gross sales to high-impact nonprofits like Rainforest Alliance, Conservation Alliance, No Kid Hungry among others.
Stasher is a Certified B Corp meaning they meet the strict social and environmental standards.
Let’s make a difference together - Save What Matters!
