Best friends on a first date on a ski trip- sounds like the start of a romantic movie. It’s not a movie, but it is a start of many wonderful things to come for Ryan and Caroline, the founders of All Good Brand.
Obviously the date went well as the two of them moved to California for their massage school. It was soon after when Caroline designed an herbal garden based on medicinal needs - headache, skin, relaxation sections and it was there where she made her first batch of the famous plant-based All Good Goop, an all purpose healing balm. She never dreamed of the things to come.
When Caroline saw the benefits of the amazing All Good Goop she started making it for her friends and family. Realizing the potential, soon after she started selling at farmers markets and even out of her car.
Things started to grow when Caroline moved All Good Goop production out of her house and into Morro Bay Community Kitchen. It was then that the company started making a wide array of natural and organic body care products and just like that All Good was born.
HOW DO THEY MAKE AN IMPACT?
If we are to describe All Good brand, their products and the way they do business it would be healthy for your body and good for the environment. They recognize that what we put on our body and what goes out into the environment is very important so they made sure that their ingredients are in line with that.
They source organically grown herbs, oils, and raw ingredients to ensure their products are free from nasty stuff like pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers. Their products are either USDA Certified Organic, or meet NSF/ANSI 305 Standards for personal care products made with organic ingredients.
It is important to mention that they grow some of their plants like calendula, lavender, and yarrow using wild land farming techniques to promote biodiversity, build natural habitats, build healthy soil, and attract the birds and the bees.
The company's production facility in Morro Bay, California is powered by photovoltaic panels on the roof, and plenty of outdoor board meetings.
All of their products are cruelty-free and are Leaping Bunny and PETA certified. They are committed to protecting the coral reefs of the world by making only reef safe sunscreen.
Their sunscreens are free of octinoxate and oxybenzone and all the other harmful ingredients commonly found in commercial sunscreens and contribute to clog up the pores of coral reefs.
If all this isn’t enough there is more from All Good! They are a Certified B Corp which means that they balance purpose and profit while considering the impact of our decisions on our employees, customers, suppliers, community, and environment.
Through their membership in 1% for the Planet they support many global environmental projects and non-profits by donating 1% of their annual sales.
