Activist Skincare is an artisanal line that is created in Southern California at a studio lab in very small amounts using only the highest quality ingredients. Although their major preoccupation is producing excellent skincare products, the company comprises professionals who are idealists at heart and view every facet of the company as an opportunity to be the change.
The term, Activist Skincare, comes from combining the two aspects: active ingredients + advocating for change = Activist Skincare.
The company's founder, Allison, is preoccupied with the science of skincare, which stemmed from her struggles with acne as a teenager, and her dedication to protecting our planet as a nature and animal lover were the two primary influences that led to the creation of Activist.
Activist Skincare was created following extensive research into the formulation of natural skincare products and the creation of many experimental formulae in the kitchen. After some time, Allison was able to relocate the company into a studio lab, where the team continues to create and ship everything by hand in small amounts to the delight of our customers.
You might have caught a glimpse of Allison's son Thomas, the renegade, on one of their social media platforms with his mother and her partner Robert. The family likes going hiking, camping, surfing, traveling, listening to music, being creative, and making the most of their life here on Earth.
