The Physical Load Is the Real Ceiling

It’s how quickly the room can change state, and that’s decided in the storeroom, by how the furniture was bought and how it’s kept.

Three Hours Is a Design Outcome

Nobody hits a three hour setup by working harder on the day. They hit it because a series of unglamorous decisions were made months earlier, in a purchasing conversation nobody would call exciting.

That is the part worth carrying into the next buying cycle. A festival that opens on time, with five hundred places set properly and a crew that is not exhausted before the first guest arrives, looks like competence on the day.
