What is the best way to wash my Stasher Bag?

Stashers are dishwasher friendly, top or bottom rack! Just place your bag open and facing downward on a few of the dishwasher spokes. You can also handwash your Stasher bags with soapy water and a bristle brush. We recommend flushing the seal out with water after each use to make sure to clean out any lingering food.
Should I turn my Stasher bag inside out to clean it?

The short answer is no. We advise against turning your Stasher inside out, as this can damage the seals and implicate your bag's integrity over time.
What is the best way to dry a Stasher bag?

Sometimes Stasher bags need a little more drying time once they are washed by hand or in the dishwasher. We recommend using any non-sharp kitchen items to stand your bags on, including other bottles, cups, or paper towel holders.
How do I get rid of stains?

If a brightly colored food left its mark on your Stasher bag, there's no need to panic! You can sun bleach your bag by leaving it in direct sunlight for an afternoon or two, and the UV rays will get to work on lifting those stains. Cool, right? Wash as usual afterwards and you'll be good to go.
How do I get rid of smells?

Luckily Stasher silicone doesn't have a smell itself, but sometimes outside odors can linger. If this happens, there are a couple of options to try that should do the trick:

1. Bake your Stasher on an oven-safe pan at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8-10 minutes. Allow your Stasher to cool before handling again!
2. Soak your Stasher in about 1/4 cup vinegar, hot water, and salt for about an hour. Then just clean as normal afterwards!
How do I use Stasher bag in the microwave?

Stashers are microwave-safe! Just leave the seal of your bag partially open to allow steam to vent, and you're good to go. We also recommend allowing your Stasher to cool off before handling.
How do I cook with Stasher bag in the oven?

When cooking with your Stasher in the oven, make sure to place it on an oven-safe sheet or pan, and keep the heat below 400 degrees Fahrenheit. You'll also want to leave the seal partially open for steam to vent, and allow your Stasher to cool off before handling again!
Can I freeze my Stasher bag?

Yes, you can definitely freeze your bag! Make sure to express the excess air from your Stasher before sealing, and avoid placing your Stasher near any sharp edges or corners in your freezer.
What is platinum silicone? Why is it better than other silicones?

Platinum silicone is made primarily from sand (silica) & oxygen and contains no added fillers, polymers, or by-products. Stasher bags are completely non-toxic, and can be safely subjected to heat without the worry of toxic chemicals leaching into the bag’s contents.
