This product is Paraben-free! Parabens are chemical preservatives that are commonly used in beauty products to increase shelf life. This product is Phthalate-free! Phthalates are a family of chemicals that are used as plasticizers, substances added to PVC plastics to make them more flexible and durable. As such, they’re used in a wide variety of plastic substances, from inflatable toys to medical devices. While low exposures to phthalates are harmless, there has been recent research suggesting the potentially negative impacts a high exposure of phthalates can have on our health. This product does not contain these harmful chemicals.

This product is Sulfate-free! Sulfates are chemicals used as cleansing agents. They can be found in household cleaners, detergents, shampoo and beauty products. Two most common sulfates are Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLEs) and are used to create the lathering effect. These chemicals are often derived from petroleum and can be damaging to certain types of hair, can cause skin irritation, allergies, lead to hair loss and according to some studies can have some carcinogenic ingredients. This product does not contain these harmful chemicals.

The product is made of recycled material which can be derived from two sources: post-industrial or post-consumer. Post-industrial material is a source of recycled content generated from the original manufacturing process. Post-consumer recycled material refers to everything we toss into the recycling bin, such as empty plastic bottles or aluminum cans.

Instructions:

Use the shampoo and conditioner as you normally do! After that, massage 1-2 pumps of the hair spray into your damp hair. Comb through and blow dry as usual for amplified volume. Scrunch into hair, clenching in hands at ends and working way up, then allow to air dry without combing for a nice, textured look.
